Gratitude!

Dear Ma'am Evelyn Reyes-Vera Cruz,

One of the very special occasions for everyone is Teacher’s Day, especially for those teachers and also the students. Teachers have a big impact on our lives. And it is very special for the students because they will greet their teachers and thank them for their sacrifices. Students will thank them for their patience, empathy, and a lot more characteristics that teachers have.

Teachers are the second parent(s) of the students. Because they give the students love, care, and support regardless of the situation or circumstances. They are not giving up until their students improve, and I am sure that they are really proud of their students, with or without honors.

As I write this letter, I want to thank you, ma’am Vera Cruz, for having us. Since we or I know that we are not really meant to be here in this class, thank you very much, ma'am, for choosing us. You always remind us that even if we are in the regular class, we also have the potential to learn the special class lessons and that we are all equal, even if there’s a big comparison between our sections.

Hypertext Markup Language is one of the things I learned in elementary school, but I know only some of it, and back then I was very curious about it. I want to learn more. But now, finally, because of you, ma'am, I got the chance again to learn about this topic, but more deeply.

I really like your teaching skills, ma'am; they're more soothing, and because of that, it’s very easy to understand the lesson. You’re so easygoing! And I love that very much! You always smile at us, and it’s very comforting (your smile always means it’s okay). And you always keep up with our Gen Z conversations, even if our humor is very weird. And I am so thankful that you are so considerate of us. Thank you for your good qualities, and I hope that I will influence these characteristics of yours so that I can be a better student.

And the truth is, you make me more motivated, ma'am; you make me strive hard because I always compare myself to those students that have a higher section. Because of that, I want to improve my skills so that I can also be an excellent student like them.

And at last, I am very thankful to you! Thank you for choosing us, ma’am! We love you very much and I am hoping that you will enjoy our presence this year, ma’am!

Lovelots,
Wilch Mari
